The
Technical Helpline service has been a key 'jewel in the crown'
of the Forté customer support service for many years. Manned full time by Technical Managers Phil Dugmore and David Norton,
the popular Helpline (open weekdays from 9.00am until 5.00pm) offers garage technicians a wealth of knowledge
and experience in fault diagnosis and advice on the appropriate
Forté treatment.

Phil and David have at their fingertips a huge computer database
that list hundreds of contamination related vehicle running problems
and Forté treatment fixes that cover virtually every make and model
of vehicle. According to Phil, the communication loop between the Helpline,
salesmen and technicians has provided many benefits. He said, "If
a technician has a problem car he cannot cure and seeks advice,
he knows that
he can call the Helpline and receive an answer and recommended
course of action within minutes."
